Royal Obidos

The golf course at the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort has received its own "real" treatment of world golf legend Severiano Ballesteros. Applying his art in the design of golf courses, the renowned golfer has created a truly exceptional course here, honoring the high quality standards of the resort.

Designed to integrate subtly with the natural surroundings, taking advantage of the undulating terrain, this 6,400 meter course attracts golfers of all levels.

The clubhouse offers a restaurant with a variety of menus available, two bars, lounge, pro-shop and bags storage area. Sitting out on the generous terrace, owners and visitors to Royal Óbidos will enjoy spectacular views of the golf course and the cascading lakes and streams, ”and some truly wonderful sunsets” over the Atlantic Ocean.

West Cliffs

Located in the West region, 45 minutes from Lisbon and two steps from the village of Obidos, the 136 hectares of the Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort occupy a truly enviable geographical position, offering superb views of the Atlantic Ocean and the golf course. The Royal Óbidos includes a 5-star hotel, which is served by a spa and meeting rooms. The 18-hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros offers a fantastic view over the Atlantic Ocean. It has a pro shop, restaurant, bar, lounge for members and an immense panoramic terrace on the golf course and the sea.

"I and Mel would like to thank you and Jo for a most enjoyable golfing holiday experience last week. My stated objective was achieved and I have regained the interest in playing golf. I now have the template for performing the back swing and with more practice I will achieve my objective of playing the game using the Mellor easiest golf swing. I don't want return to my old swing method even though it stood me in good stead over the years, it is good for my muscle and back health. Mel also felt the benefit of the coaching session on and off the course.

I will be purchasing a tri-pod for my I pad/phone so I will keep you updated on how I am progressing.

Once again thanks for your help with my swing, it is the best swing in golf, particularly when its demonstrated by you and I recommend it to all older golfers who are struggling with aches and pains and more especially when confidence in their ability to play the game in the twilight of their golfing careers."
